At the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, WEKTOR's designers

designed a machine to produce briquettes from sawdust.

In the middle of 2004, we started to improve the machine. Our target was grain straw and so already in August 2004 it was possible to produce sawdust briquettes on the BT-60 briquetting press as well as briquettes from all kinds of straw.

In 2010, after a further adaptation of the machine, we were among the first to produce large pellets with a diameter of 20 mm on a typical mechanical briquetting press. Now you can also produce pellets with a diameter of 7 to 11 mm

And so, after many years of challenges and trials, we managed to create the perfect machine - the BT-60 Mechanical Briquetting Press. Now our technology is versatile and enables the processing of virtually every type of biomass available in the world, both into briquettes with diameters from 50 to 70 mm and pellets with diameters of 7-8 mm, 11-13 mm and 17-20 mm.

Our technology is directed to individual investors as well as large companies, farmers, sawmills, fruit growers, oil palm and olive growers, furniture and floor panels manufacturers and anyone who needs to manage agricultural or forestry waste.

Now, with the BT-60 briquetting press, you can produce not only briquettes from cereal straws and sawdust, but also from sunflower, peat, lignin, rapeseed, corn, soybean straw, hay, grass, wood chips, energy plants (e.g. miscanthus), rice husk, lignite and charcoal, soot from tyre pyrolysis, cardboard, waste paper, dried fruit and vegetable preserves, etc.

Our technology is distinguished by:

verified

The lowest purchase cost
in relation to its efficiency and machine operation

verified

Multitasking line
one briquetting press enables the production of both briquettes of different diameters and pellets.

verified

The possibility to recycle
virtually any type of plant or forest waste.

verified

High efficiency
in the production of fuel from biomass.

Example output for one BT-60 briquetting press / single briquette production line
(with the appropriate fragmentation and humidity of the input material):
